Ruminants
Yeast-based solutions for dairy and beef cattle, calves and small ruminants — supporting rumen fermentation, calf rumen development and milk quality.
What We Solve for Ruminants
Rumen pH stabilisation
Less lactate accumulation — lower acidosis risk and a steadier rumen pH.
Residual oxygen uptake in the rumen
Maintaining an anaerobic environment — better conditions for beneficial rumen microbiota to stay active.
Lower methanogenesis
Modified microbial fermentation, with the potential to reduce methane (CH₄) formation.
Milk yield & quality
Milk yield and milk quality — fat, protein and somatic cell count.
Calf rumen development
Rumen development in calves, and lower diarrhoea incidence.
Heat & transport stress
Resilience to heat and transport stress, and recovery after antibiotic treatment.

How probiotics work in the rumen
The Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain is microencapsulated in a layer of inactivated yeast cells, which protects it during transport, storage and feed processing.
The probiotic gradually becomes active in the rumen — this is where its key point of impact lies in ruminants. The rumen is the main site of microbial feed fermentation, so supporting its microbial environment directly affects how nutrients are digested and used.
Live yeast consumes residual oxygen, supports the activity of beneficial microbiota and helps utilise lactate. That keeps rumen pH stable, improves fibre digestion and optimises feed fermentation.
The result is a stable rumen, more efficient feed utilisation and more available energy for the animal's performance.
